Fast bowler Amjad Khan claimed 5-79 and Ian Bell and Alastair Cook hit half centuries on Monday as England enjoyed its final workout before Thursday's fourth Test against the West Indies.
The visitors' two-day match against the BCA President's XI at Windward Cricket Club ended up in a tame draw.
Khan led the tourists' bowling as the BCA President's XI, overnight 49-4, was bowled out for 245 in reply to England's first day total of 351-8 declared. Captain Sharmarh Brooks topscored for the hosts with 69 while Kevin Stoute (56) and Jason Holder (50) also compiled half centuries.
There were two wickets apiece for left-arm Ryan Sidebottom (2-19) and leg-spinner Adil Rashid (2-63).
Bell (72) and Cook (52) then shared an enterprising opening stand of 102 as England progressed to 142-2 in its second innings before the match ended.
England was made to work hard in the early stages on Day 2 as Brooks and Stoute shared a fifth wicket stand of 104 to lift the Barbadians from a wobbly overnight position.
But once Khan claimed Stoute to a slip catch, the innings fell away disappointingly. Holder stroked 50 but Khan returned to end his eye-catching innings and then removed Renaldo Arthur (18) to complete his five-wicket haul.
Scores:
England 351-8 declared off 75 overs and 142-2 off 27.2 overs (Ian Bell 72, Alastair Cook 52, Roston Chase 2-21). BCA President's XI 245 all out off 63.4 overs (Sharmarh Brooks 69, Kevin Stoute 56, Jason Holder 50, Amjad Khan 5-79, Ryan Sidebottom 2-19, Adil Rashid 2-63).
